(Washington, D.C.) – Today, U.S. Senator Dean Heller (R-NV) questioned Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke at the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee hearing, “The Semiannual Monetary Policy Report to the Congress.”

Heller’s questions centered around the Senate’s failure to pass a budget, whether Congress’s inaction has made economic recovery more difficult, and the Federal Reserve’s strategy on quantitative easing moving forward.
