(Washington, DC) – Today U.S. Senator Dean Heller (R-NV) met with Commerce Secretary Nominee John Bryson. Heller sits on the Senate Commerce Committee which will consider Bryson’s nomination.

“I am deeply concerned with the direction this Administration continues to take our country. While I am willing to give Mr. Bryson the benefit of the doubt, the fact that he supports job-killing policies like cap and trade is disconcerting. Anyone who will be a member of the Administration’s economic team must prove they are willing to place ideology aside and do whatever it takes to help create jobs in our country,” said Heller.
